Can I send money to someone before meeting them?
We strongly advise against it. Money sent to someone you have never met is almost always lost. No visa, ticket or marriage is settled by a transfer to a person met online.
Where can I report fraud from France, Belgium, Switzerland or Quebec?
In France, Internet-signalement.gouv.fr and Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr; in Belgium, Point de contact; in Switzerland, the Federal Office for Cybersecurity; in Quebec and Canada, the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. Also contact your bank right away.
Can I travel to Russia or Ukraine today?

Which documents are needed to marry a foreign national in France?
ID, recent proof of address, a birth certificate with parentage (under 3 months for a French certificate) and, for the foreign fiancée, documents tied to her nationality, often a certificate of custom, with a sworn translation. The town hall sets the exact list.
Is a marriage held abroad valid in France?
It must be transcribed by French consular authorities to take effect in France. Transcription is also a condition for the residence card of a French citizen’s spouse.
Which visa is needed to bring a spouse to France?
A long-stay visa as the spouse of a French citizen. According to service-public it is valid for one year and lets the holder apply for a multi-year card during the second year, between 4 and 2 months before it expires.
How do I sponsor a spouse from Quebec?
In two steps: a sponsorship undertaking with the Quebec immigration ministry (MIFI), lasting three years for a spouse, and a permanent residence application with IRCC. Intake rules can change; check quebec.ca.
